Pipa at a Glance

  • What we make: skincare built for kids ages 8–13, designed for that age from day one.
  • Founded by Kristina Kubler, a licensed esthetician with more than ten years in the beauty industry and a mom of three, who made it for her own kids. Co-founded with Corina Pfeffer and Clara Cárdenas.
  • Based in Key Biscayne, FL. Made in the USA. Founded 2023.
  • The range: Squeaky Clean foaming face wash, Smooth Operator moisturizer, Glow Go hydrating face mist, Skin Saver hypochlorous acid face and body spray, Sun-Sational 100% mineral SPF 30, and Hands-Off hydrocolloid pimple patches.
  • Formulation: no synthetic fragrance, hormone disruptors, phthalates, parabens or sulfates. No retinol, AHAs, BHAs or vitamin C. Never tested on animals. Full ingredient lists on every product page.
  • Clinically tested: Squeaky Clean, Smooth Operator, Glow Go and Sun-Sational each passed a Repeated Insult Patch Test at Eurofins CRL in 2025, supervised by board-certified dermatologist Winston Moy, MD. 113 adults with self-perceived sensitive skin completed each study, with no irritation or sensitization. Florida Suncare Testing separately verified Sun-Sational's SPF in September 2026.
  • Recommended by Francisco Kerdel, MD, board-certified dermatologist; Lisa Klein, MD, pediatrician; and Chelsea Wallace, MD, board-certified plastic surgeon. All three are parents, and none is employed by Pipa.

  • Featured in Fast Company, The New York Times, British Vogue, Bloomberg, Good Morning America and Oprah Daily.

  • 30-day money-back guarantee on every order.

Boilerplate

Short: Pipa Skin Care makes skincare for kids ages 8–13, built for that age from the start. Esthetician and mom Kristina Kubler founded the brand. The range is free from synthetic fragrance, hormone disruptors, parabens and sulfates, never tested on animals, and made in the USA.

Long: Pipa Skin Care makes skincare for kids ages 8–13, an in-between stage that until recently had no products of its own. Esthetician and mom Kristina Kubler created Pipa for her own tweens on a simple argument: kids don't need ten steps or adult actives, they need two products they'll use without a fight.

Every formula leaves out synthetic fragrance, hormone disruptors, phthalates, parabens, sulfates and adult actives, and is made in the USA. Squeaky Clean, Smooth Operator, Glow Go and Sun-Sational each passed an independent, dermatologist-supervised patch test at Eurofins CRL. Pipa is sold at pipaskincare.com, Amazon, Walmart and TikTok Shop, and in stores at Sprouts Farmers Market and Claire's. It has been featured in Fast Company, The New York Times and Good Morning America.

The founder

Short: Kristina Kubler is the founder of Pipa Skin Care, a licensed esthetician and a mom of three. She built Pipa for her own kids after watching kids that age use adult actives their skin wasn't ready for.

Long: Kristina Kubler is a licensed esthetician with more than ten years in the beauty industry, a mom of three, and the founder of Pipa Skin Care. Born in Venezuela, she studied business and worked as a professional makeup artist before specializing in skincare in the United States.

When her daughter asked for skincare, nothing on the shelf fit. Adult products were too strong, and products marketed to kids didn't work. So she built a line made for ages 8–13: fewer products, gentle formulas, no harsh actives, and a routine short enough that a 10-year-old will do it on a school morning.

The brand is named after her daughter's nickname, which is the part parents tend to ask about.

Quote: "Skin at 8 to 13 is still figuring itself out. Give kids two gentle products and 60 seconds a day, and you've started a habit they'll keep for the next 40 years. That's the whole idea." Kristina Kubler, founder, Pipa Skin Care

Tested, and endorsed by name

Every safety claim we make comes from one of two places: an independent lab, or a clinician who has read the formulas.

Independently tested

In 2025, each of Pipa's four core formulas went through a Repeated Insult Patch Test (RIPT). It's the standard test for whether a product irritates skin or causes an allergic reaction. The studies ran at Eurofins CRL in Piscataway, New Jersey, an independent clinical research lab, under board-certified dermatologist Winston Moy, MD. Each enrolled 120 adults with self-perceived sensitive skin; 113 completed it.

Florida Suncare Testing verified Sun-Sational's SPF separately under the FDA method (study 26-1068, September 2026), and board-certified dermatologist Jeffrey Parks, MD, reviewed the results. It's labeled SPF 30 and has not been tested for water resistance.

Patch tests like these are run on adults; children aren't enrolled in cosmetic safety studies. That's why Pipa tests on adults with sensitive skin and leaves out the ingredients that most often bother young skin. See the full testing details.

Full study reports are available to press, retailers and clinicians on request at press@pipaskincare.com.

For journalists

Everything on this page is free to quote without asking. Logos, product photography and founder headshots are in the media kit below.

Kristina can speak to:

  • children's boutiques and toy shops
  • pharmacies, salons and clean beauty retailers with a family customer
  • building a routine a kid will keep, and what to do when they won't
  • gift shops near schools, camps and pediatric practices

What you get from us: packaging a 10-year-old will pick up, ingredient lists a parent can read in ten seconds, and the test documentation behind every claim.

For creators and affiliates

We work with parents, estheticians, pediatric and dermatology professionals, and educators: people who already talk to families about skin and want something they can stand behind.

How it works:

  • You get product to try first. We don't ask anyone to post about something they haven't used.
  • % commission on every sale through your link, tracked for 30 days
  • A code for your audience, plus the ingredient and testing facts so you can answer questions accurately.

Two things we ask: say it's a partnership, and don't make medical claims for us. Pipa products clean, soothe, protect and support young skin. They're everyday skincare with no medical claims, and we won't ask you to make any.

For brand and licensing partners

Our Everyday Hero Bundle with Miraculous is the model: a character kids already love, on a routine that stays gentle either way. A collaboration changes what's on the outside of the bottle, never what's in it.

We're open to:

  • character and entertainment licensing for ages 8–13
  • co-branded bundles with brands that share the age range
  • schools, camps and pediatric practices that want one simple routine to hand to families

We won't change a formula for a collaboration or market to kids under 8.

Pitch us at cori@pipaskincare.com. Audience, age range and timeline is enough for a first reply.

Our plastic recovery partner: CleanHub

Pipa works with CleanHub, which funds waste collection in regions without formal recycling infrastructure and recovers plastic before it reaches the ocean.

Every Pipa product ordered funds the recovery of 200g of plastic waste. CleanHub tracks and verifies our totals, and you can see them in our CleanHub impact report.

It doesn't make our packaging perfect. It makes it accounted for.
